World-class veterinary care
– at a better price!
A personal assistent for you who want to take your pet to a veterinarian to Poland.
Why travel to Poland with your dog?

Up to 80% cheaper veterinary care than in Sweden
You save money without compromising on quality. Even when you include travel and accommodation, vet care in Poland is often far more affordable than in Sweden.

Access to top veterinary specialists
Poland offers high-level veterinary specialists across many fields. They’re constantly learning and improving, providing the best possible care for your dog. Plus – waiting times? Often much shorter than in Sweden.

Explore Poland while you're here
Poland is a beautiful and affordable travel destination. Want to combine your vet visit with sightseeing? No problem. I will help you make the most of your stay – and we’ll arrange a dog sitter if needed, so you can enjoy the city stress-free.

Who am I?
It’s not a big company who will guide you on your vet trip – it's me.
My name is Joanna, I’ve been living in Sweden since 2021, but I’m originally from Poland. I’ve been working with dogs since 2002 – I volunteered in a shelter, handled dogs at shows, trained and competed in multiple dog sports. I’m the founder of dogfrisbee.se, a widely educated dog trainer, and co-founder of the first agility club in Pomerania, Poland. Right now I share my life with two border collies, Smok and Dzik.
The idea of veterinary journeys to Poland came from my own experiences. After moving to Sweden, I often have to travel back to Poland for vet care – due to the lack of availability and extremely high Swedish prices. More and more dog owners in Sweden started asking me about it, and realized how big the difference and the need really are. That’s when I decided to help others access the same high-quality care I rely on in Poland. These days, as many Swedes can no longer afford vet visits at home, I want to make professional veterinary care accessible again – and support owners every step of the way.

Would Swedish dog insurance cover veterinary care from Poland?
A common question from you who think about taking your dog to a veterinarian in Poland is: Will Swedish dog insurance cover Polish veterinary care?
The answer is, in general, yes! – most Swedish insurance companies cover veterinary care provided in EU countries, including Poland. However, it is important to read the terms and conditions of the company where your dog is insured, as the rules may differ.
So my advice is: if you are going to take your dog to the vet in Poland – double check with your insurance company beforehand. It can save you both time and money later on. It might also be a good idea to ask the vets in Poland to keep records in English.
Is rabies vaccination needed before the trip to Poland?
Your dog must have a valid rabies vaccination to enter Poland. Remember:
If this is your dog's first rabies vaccination, or if the previous one has expiredyou have to wait at least 21 days from the time of vaccination before the dog is allowed to enter the country. However, if your dog has a valid rabies vaccine and you give it another injection, you are allowed to travel to Poland without waiting these 3 weeks.
Which documents do I need for my dog?
Your dog has to have an EU-pass where the chip number and the rabies vaccination are correctly written by a veterinarian. Without a passport, the dog will not be allowed into Poland.
What can be done in Poland?
Poland has excellent specialists and well-equipped clinics, so the possibilities are very wide. Remember though that it is only planned procedures that I can help you with, not emergency conditions - in which you need to seek care at the nearest veterinary hospital.
